Carl Pei’s tech brand Nothing is all set to disrupt the mid-range smartphone market with its upcoming launch – the Nothing Phone 3a. As a toned-down yet powerful sibling to the upcoming Nothing Phone 3, the 3a model aims to bring the iconic Glyph interface and clean design to a more affordable segment.
Stunning Transparent Design with Glyph Lights
Staying true to Nothing’s DNA, the Phone 3a is expected to retain the transparent rear panel and minimalistic build, featuring a refined Glyph lighting system. It will likely be more compact and lighter than its flagship sibling, but still deliver that same premium feel that fans love.
Smooth Display & Optimized Performance
Leaks suggest that the Nothing Phone 3a may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering fluid visuals. It is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 series chipset, ensuring reliable performance for gaming, multitasking, and day-to-day use. Expected RAM options include 8GB/12GB with 128GB/256GB storage variants.
Dual Camera with AI Features
Nothing is expected to equip the 3a with a 50MP main sensor and a secondary ultra-wide camera. The camera app may include AI enhancements for night mode, portrait, and stabilization. A 32MP front camera is also expected, ideal for high-quality selfies and video calls.
Wireless Charging & Clean OS
One of the most talked-about features is the inclusion of wireless charging a rare gem in the mid-range category. The phone is also expected to run on Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 14, offering a clean, bloat-free experience with regular updates.
Expected Launch Date and Price in India
The Nothing Phone 3a is expected to launch in India by August 2025, with an expected price tag between ₹28,000 to ₹32,000, making it an attractive choice for users who want flagship features at a lower cost.
